Solution overview

Gate enables merchants to accept payments and send payouts via two execution modes: a hosted payment page and host-to-host.

In the hosted mode, card data is entered on Gate’s page, so the merchant does not need their own PCI DSS controls for card data entry. An auxiliary page is also available to perform 3-D Secure even if the merchant collects card data and is PCI DSS compliant.

In host-to-host, card data is entered on the merchant side and PCI DSS compliance is required.
